Punctually to the German track-and-field championship in July 2011 the Auestadion in Kassel will receive an ultramodern LED Videowall made by GUNDERMANN. With an image plane of 75 square meters it will become one of the three largest LED screens in a German stadium.The videowall is installed above the guest fan curve and integrates itself harmoniously into the overall view of the completely renewed stadium. |

More and more LED-Videowalls (aka Ledwalls) don´t comply with the allowed limits by CE, FCC or CCC. In the worst case scenario they have to be shut down or rebuild with complex measures. This turns out negative for the operator of the Videowall, not only in monetary loss, but also in loss of the company image. Additionally the videowall has to be trouble shooted by the supplier or replaced by a legally compliant one, and in the worst case disposed. This means high additional costs and maybe a disruption of the events taking place.

Succesful installation of a Videowall cube in the Bossard-Arena, the new home venue site of the Swiss icehockey topclub EV Zug. The Videowall cube consists of LED-modules of our “HQ-series” and offers highest quality and complies with all regulations, especially the EMC law.
The 4 LED-Videowalls consist of HQ8-modules and deliver a perfect picture quality in the size of 3,84m x 2,16m with individually 480 x 270 pixel. Underneath of the 4 LED-Videowalls is a unique circumferentially positioned LED-banner, in which our HQ16-modules with totally 1.880 x 45 pixel are installed for animations, advertising- and text-informations. Optically the new Videowall cube in the Bossard-Arena is a real feast for the eyes. |

What is the LEDWALL Optimizer HQ_P2?
The LEDWALL Optimizer works as a cut-in unit, which is able to adjust nearly all digitally driven ledwall systems (for example DVI and HDMI). This new developed equipment makes it possible to restore the homogeneity of your ledwall system, which is lost over the years. Why do I need this camera alignment system? Every single led of a ledwall system loses a certain portion of its luminosity in most diverse extents. This causes a spotted picture. With our LEDWALL Optimizer we affect the digital picture signal in such a way that after the camera alignment all LEDs shine again equal brightly and can present a homogeneous picture. How does the LEDWALL Optimizer HQ_P2 work? With a special camera the brightness of every single LED is recorded. With this data the digital video signal is corrected to provide a homogeneous picture on the installed LEDWALL system again. What is needed? In principle only the “LEDWALL Optimizer HQ_P2” is needed, if the camera alignment is done by Gundermann VIDEOWALL. On this weekend the new impuls-arena in Augsburg was solemnly opened. The FC Augsburg, which competes in the 2nd highest German league, plays its home games here in the future and can be highly pleased about 2 LED video walls from the German manufacturer GUNDERMANN VIDEOWALL. The modules belong to the new HQ™-series and are characterized by a particularly radio interference-poor behavior, a very high brightness and an efficient energy consumption. The plant was examined before distribution of an independent testing institute on adherence to the current limit values in accordance with EMC law, all accomplished tests for the fulfillment of the industrial standard were passed.

The ERC Ingolstadt gets an ultramodern LED video cube for the new ice hockey season. The DEL club decided for the model “HQ-8 “of the German manufacturer GUNDERMANN VIDEO WALL. The visit was decisive with the Spengler-Cup in Davos, in which the ERCI participated in the last winter. Here one could convince oneself locally over several days of the high quality and the extensive representation descriptions of this system. In the “Vaillant arena “a video cube already is installed by GUNDERMANN VIDEOWALL and provides sensation since then for 2 years. “The image quality is beyond each doubt, a pixel distance of 8mm can’t be found in any other European arena. And with the new line “HQ™“ we fulfill all high requirements regarding to the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)“ describes Karsten Mick, responsible for the selling in sports facilities. This characteristic was likewise with crucial for the purchase decision, because in the “Saturn arena “the name of the sponsor already obligates to a special quality.

For 2 weeks it is now also contractually sealed: GUNDERMANN VIDEOWALL supplies the LED video cube for the new ice-skating stadium “Herti“ of the EV Zug. The Swiss top club refers his new domicile in the summer 2010, but one decided already for the product of the German manufacturer. Naturally also different manufacturers had applied for this fastidious project, but in the long run GUNDERMANN VIDEOWALL became generally accepted owing to the outstanding reference asset in the “Vaillant arena“in Davos. The responsible persons of the EV Zug can convince themselves for now 2 years in the context of the championship plays against the HC Davos of the high quality of this product.
Also in Zug one falls back to the modules of the new „HQ™“- series. With 8mm and modern 3-in-1 SMD LED the displays of the „HQ-8“models fulfill the highest requirements. With a dimension of 3,84 x 2.16 m picture area and 480 x of 270 pixels the display provides a perfect image quality. But the cube offers clearly more, than only four large screens for the fan TV. The highlight and in Switzerland an absolutely new fact is a round, circulating LED banner underneath the video cube. Over this banner numerous insertions can be realized, which supply interesting additional information to the spectator. Regarding to the presentation possibilities for sponsors, completely new variants for the marketing are open. With the integration of two remote controlled cathedral cameras in the cube housing impressive pictures from completely new perspectives for the fan TV can be produced. With the team FischAuf Göppingen the company GUNDERMANN VIDEOWALL welcomes another team from the 1st hand ball league of Germany after the TBV Lemgo in its customer master. The remodelling of the EMS arena in Göppingen plans also the installation of high-quality media technics. GUNDERMANN VIDEOWALL supplies high-quality LED video walls of the new „HQ™ “- series for its partner DIGITECH, the implementing general contractor for this trade. With the model „HQ-8“ the requirements are more than fulfilled.
Altogether two displays are installed behind the gates of the cover central. Each screen produces on a surface of 3,84 x 2.16 m altogether for 480 x of 270 pixels. High-quality 3-in-1 SMD LED provides an optimal image quality from all viewing angles. On the displays apart from the relevant play information (play time, results etc.) also chain breaks, film contributions, statistics and further maintaining contents are showed. The new EMS arena will be on the newest conditions and is able to deliver the best entertainment to the fans of the hand ball club FrischAuf Göppingen. |
